Some Hasidic Jewish boys get their first haircut when they turn three.

I was honored to be invited to photograph Yahuda's haircutting ceremony this month, it was a beautiful day.

LONG SHOT - Last Friday, June 19th 6pm to sat at 6 pm, 98 photographers walked the city for 24 hours taking photos for the photo Center Northwest photo-a-thon. I found an old piece of scratched up plastic on the street that I played with as a filter. A show with many of the final images will be shown in print and slide form at Ouch My Eye Gallery on July 16th. Come on out, it's a party!
